Betty Comden dies



Asleep as I was through the weekend, I missed the news that Betty Comden died on Thanksgiving. Along with Adolf Green (who, like Comden, was a former cabaret partner of Judy Holliday), Betty wrote book and lyrics for modernist musical classics On The Town, It's Always Fair Weather, The Bandwagon and Bells Are Ringing.
